The Department of Expenditure (DoE) approved the creation of a fixed number of 235 posts for HSG-I (NFG) vide letter dated 27.05.2016, without granting approval for any defined or certain percentage, meaning any change in this total requires DoE approval.

Vide letter dated 05.08.2020, 40 HSG-I (NFG) posts were temporarily redeployed from 12 Circles to 3 Circles w.e.f. 01.08.2020 for defined time periods.

These redeployed posts are automatically restored to their parent Circles on the specific date mentioned against each post or until further orders (whichever is earlier), requiring no separate orders for restoration.
