SB Order No. 03/2026 regarding the revision of withdrawal limits for paperless transactions
• The order refers to the e-KYC (paperless KYC) process for Post Office Savings Bank (POSB) transactions originally introduced via SB Order No. 01/2025.
• The limit for withdrawal transactions performed via Aadhaar Authentication without a physical voucher (withdrawal form) has been increased from ₹5,000 to ₹20,000 or less.
• There remains no requirement to collect a physical voucher (pay-in-slip) for any deposit transaction performed via Aadhaar Authentication, regardless of the amount.
• The withdrawal limit mentioned in the SOP attached to the original 2025 order is now officially updated to ₹20,000, while all other existing provisions remain unchanged.
