Clarification on Overtime Allowance Eligibility
135. Are the staff members working in the Savings Bank Central Pairing Office and Circle Pairing Units eligible for the grant of Overtime Allowance (OTA), and what specific conditions must be met for its implementation?
As per DOP Order No: 10-74/73-PE-II dated 30.05.1979 the President has approved that the orders relating to the grant of OTA, which are applicable to operative staff in the Department, shall also apply to the staff working in the Savings Bank Central Pairing Office and Circle Pairing Units. This eligibility is subject to the fulfillment of general conditions and restrictions already established in the OTA scheme. This decision formally adds these staff units as item (ix) under para 22 of the 1964 OTA orders.
