GDS Compassionate Engagement – In case of non traceable of records of deceased GDS what to do?
• The GDS Compassionate Engagement Scheme 2023 rules were issued on 14.6.2023. A detailed video was made on this channel under the caption "Old rules changed for GDS Compassionate appointment" (July 2023).
• The Department of Posts (DOP) inserted Note 3 to Para 4 of the said rules, which dealt with cases where personal records are not available for the deceased or non-traceable GDS.
• In such cases, the Committee on Compassionate Engagement (CCE) should explicitly recommend the condonation in the CCE minutes to the Competent Authority.
• The Competent Authority may condone and approve the engagement, taking into account the length of service of the deceased GDS and the efforts made to trace such reports, on a case-by-case basis.
• In such cases, an undertaking shall be obtained from the dependent that if anything adverse is noticed in the future, they will be liable to be terminated by the Head of the Region/Circle as per clause 20 of the Scheme.

• கிராமிய அஞ்சல் ஊழியர்களுக்கான (GDS) கருணை அடிப்படையிலான நியமனத் திட்டம் 2023 விதிகள் 14.6.2023 அன்று வெளியிடப்பட்டன. "GDS கருணை நியமனத்திற்கான பழைய விதிகள் மாற்றப்பட்டன" (ஜூலை 2023) என்ற தலைப்பில் இந்த சேனலில் ஒரு விரிவான வீடியோ வெளியிடப்பட்டது.
• இறந்த அல்லது கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியாத கிராமிய அஞ்சல் ஊழியர்களின் தனிப்பட்ட பதிவுகள் கிடைக்காத சந்தர்ப்பங்களில் கையாளும் வகையில், மேற்கண்ட விதிகளின் பாரா 4 இல் குறிப்பு 3 ஐ அஞ்சல் துறை (DOP) சேர்த்துள்ளது.
• இத்தகைய சந்தர்ப்பங்களில், கருணை அடிப்படையிலான நியமனக் குழு (CCE), தகுதிவாய்ந்த அதிகாரியால் மன்னிப்பு வழங்குவதற்காக CCE நிமிடங்களில் வெளிப்படையாக பரிந்துரைக்க வேண்டும்.
• தகுதிவாய்ந்த அதிகாரி, இறந்த கிராமிய அஞ்சல் ஊழியரின் பணிபுரிந்த காலத்தையும், அத்தகைய அறிக்கைகளைக் கண்டுபிடிப்பதற்கான முயற்சிகளையும் கருத்தில் கொண்டு, ஒவ்வொரு வழக்கின் அடிப்படையிலும் நியமனத்தை மன்னிக்கவும் அங்கீகரிக்கவும் செய்யலாம்.
• இத்தகைய சந்தர்ப்பங்களில், எதிர்காலத்தில் ஏதேனும் பாதகமான விஷயம் கண்டறியப்பட்டால், திட்டத்தின் பிரிவு 20 இன் படி, பிராந்தியம்/வட்டத்தின் தலைவர் மூலம் பணிநீக்கம் செய்யப்படுவதற்கு பொறுப்பாவார் என்று சார்ந்திருப்பவரிடமிருந்து ஒரு உறுதிமொழி பெறப்பட வேண்டும்.
