Election Code of Conduct is not a bar for promotion / Transfer
• The Election Commission of India advised that there is no objection from the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) perspective to the proposed transfer and promotion of officials.
• However, no officials involved in election work in any capacity shall be relieved on transfer until the election process is completed.
• Furthermore, the declaration of results for the Departmental Examination may be deferred until the completion of the election process.
• Accordingly, the departmental examination results will be declared only after the completion of the election process.

• இந்திய தேர்தல் ஆணையம், அதிகாரிகளின் முன்மொழியப்பட்ட இடமாற்றம் மற்றும் பதவி உயர்வு குறித்து நடத்தை விதிகள் (MCC) கண்ணோட்டத்தில் எந்த ஆட்சேபனையும் இல்லை என்று அறிவுறுத்தியுள்ளது.
