PLEASE READ AND KEEP MEMORY OF THE FOLLOWING POINTS
P.O. Guide – Part I
101. A duplicate ID will be issued on payment of a fresh fee and after giving a written declaration.
102. Complaints relating to speed post should be preferred written one month from the date of booking.
103. book packet should not contain any paper money, postage or other stamps, hundis, cheques, currency notes and all orders of payment of money except a stamped envelope, post card or wrapper. (120-126)
104. The book packets containing printed books should not contain any publication published at regular intervals. (128)
105. Blind literature pockets are exempted from payment of the following fees besides being exempt from the payments of postage, registration fees, fee for acknowledgement and fee for the attested copy of the receipt. (136 &137)
106. Nothing should be enclosed in or with any newspaper posted other than an extra or supplement under registered newspapers.
107. The application of Registered Newspapers should be accompanied by
i. a list showing the names and addressee of at least 50 bona fide subscribers and ;
ii. a certificate from the District, Presidency or Sub divisional Magistrate.
108. The articles containing gold coin or bullion or both, currency notes. Bank notes should be insured for the actual value of the contents, if it is posted in the post office. (184)
109. Indian postal order may be repaid to the purchaser even after 24 months (but not later than 36 month) on payment of second commission at the prescribed rate.
110. If the Foreign article are addressed ' Post Restante” the warehousing charge is levied from the 8th day following the date arrival of the article in the office of delivery. (18 Part II)
111. A foreign parcel may be insured for a value not exceeding the limit of insurance for the country concerned and not exceeding the actual value of contents. The insurance value should not exceed the value declared in the customs declaration or other export documents.(18 Part II)
112. In no case, foreign insured letter can be insured for more than Rs. 1,00,000 which is the limit prescribed in India. Where currency notes are despatched by insured post, the value shall not exceed Rs. 20,000 /-
113. Refund for the error on franking impression can be claimed by the institution within one month and 5 % of less deduction. ( Error postage)
114. Franking meter reset will be made by the PRI & above status.
115. Fee for availing post box facility is Rs. 150 /- per year and Rs. 50 /- per quarterly.
116. Fee for both post Box and post bag combined facility – Rs. 250 /- per year / Rs.80 quarterly.
117. Cost of identify card is Rs. 9/-. Validity of ID card is 3 years.
118. Cost of window delivery ticket – free of cost.
119. Post Restante article can be detained in post office for one month. ( Post Restante instruction is valid for 3 months)
120. Redirection fee of parcels within delivery area / original address and sender in case of unclaimed parcel is at free of cast.
121 . Complaint and Suggestion books are being maintained in all post offices including B.O.S
122. Size of the Identity card is 88 mm x 63 mm
123. Circle complaint officer is vigilance officer attached at the HQ of the circle.
124. Delivery of articles of a deceased person may be effected to any near relative of the deceased if it does not contain any valuable property, and also in case of no counterclaim or likelihood of dispute.
125. Size limit of letter is minimum 11 x 7 cm & max 60 x 90 cm. Roll is minimum 10 x 17 cm & max. 88 x 100 cm
101. புதிய கட்டணம் செலுத்தியும், எழுத்துப்பூர்வமான உறுதிமொழி அளித்த பின்னரும் நகல் அடையாள அட்டை வழங்கப்படும்.
102. ஸ்பீட் போஸ்ட் தொடர்பான புகார்கள் முன்பதிவு செய்த நாளிலிருந்து ஒரு மாதத்திற்குள் எழுத்துப்பூர்வமாக தெரிவிக்கப்பட வேண்டும்.
103. புத்தகப் பொட்டலத்தில் காகிதப் பணம், தபால் தலைகள் அல்லது பிற முத்திரைகள், உண்டியல்கள், காசோலைகள், கரன்சி நோட்டுகள் மற்றும் பணம் செலுத்துவதற்கான அனைத்து ஆணைகளும் இருக்கக்கூடாது, முத்திரையிடப்பட்ட உறை, தபால் அட்டை அல்லது உறை தவிர. (120-126)
104. அச்சிடப்பட்ட புத்தகங்களைக் கொண்ட புத்தகப் பொட்டலங்களில் தவறாமல் வெளியிடப்படும் எந்த வெளியீடும் இருக்கக்கூடாது. (128)
105. பார்வையற்றோர் இலக்கிய பொட்டலங்கள் தபால் கட்டணம், பதிவு கட்டணம், ஒப்புதல் கட்டணம் மற்றும் ரசீது நகலுக்கான கட்டணம் ஆகியவற்றிலிருந்து விலக்கு அளிக்கப்படுவதுடன், பின்வரும் கட்டணங்களிலிருந்தும் விலக்கு அளிக்கப்படுகின்றன. (136 & 137)
106. பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட செய்தித்தாள்களின் கீழ் வரும் கூடுதல் அல்லது இணைப்பிதழ் தவிர, அனுப்பப்படும் எந்த செய்தித்தாளிலும் எதுவும் இணைக்கப்படவோ அல்லது உள்ளே வைக்கப்படவோ கூடாது.
107. பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட செய்தித்தாள்களுக்கான விண்ணப்பத்துடன் பின்வருபவை இணைக்கப்பட வேண்டும்: i. குறைந்தது 50 உண்மையான சந்தாதாரர்களின் பெயர்கள் மற்றும் முகவரிகளைக் காட்டும் பட்டியல்; மற்றும் ii. மாவட்ட, பிரசிடென்சி அல்லது துணைப்பிரிவு நீதிபதியிடமிருந்து சான்றிதழ்.
108. தங்க நாணயம் அல்லது பொன் அல்லது இரண்டும், கரன்சி நோட்டுகள், வங்கி நோட்டுகள் உள்ள கட்டுரைகள் தபால் நிலையத்தில் அனுப்பப்பட்டால், உள்ளடக்கங்களின் உண்மையான மதிப்பில் காப்பீடு செய்யப்பட வேண்டும். (184)
109. இந்திய தபால் ஆணையை வாங்கியவருக்கு 24 மாதங்களுக்குப் பிறகும் (ஆனால் 36 மாதங்களுக்குப் பிறகு அல்ல) பரிந்துரைக்கப்பட்ட விகிதத்தில் இரண்டாவது கமிஷன் செலுத்தி திருப்பிச் செலுத்தலாம்.
110. வெளிநாட்டு கட்டுரைகள் 'போஸ்ட் ரெஸ்டாண்டே' என்று முகவரியிடப்பட்டால், கட்டுரை டெலிவரி அலுவலகத்திற்கு வந்த தேதியிலிருந்து 8வது நாளிலிருந்து கிடங்கு கட்டணம் வசூலிக்கப்படும். (18 பகுதி II)
111. ஒரு வெளிநாட்டு பார்சல் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட நாட்டின் காப்பீட்டு வரம்புக்கு மிகாமலும், உள்ளடக்கங்களின் உண்மையான மதிப்பை மிகாமலும் காப்பீடு செய்யப்படலாம். காப்பீட்டு மதிப்பு சுங்க அறிவிப்பு அல்லது பிற ஏற்றுமதி ஆவணங்களில் அறிவிக்கப்பட்ட மதிப்பை விட அதிகமாக இருக்கக்கூடாது. (18 பகுதி II)
112. எந்தவொரு சந்தர்ப்பத்திலும், வெளிநாட்டு காப்பீடு செய்யப்பட்ட கடிதம் இந்தியாவில் நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்ட வரம்பான ரூ. 1,00,000 க்கு மேல் காப்பீடு செய்யப்பட முடியாது. கரன்சி நோட்டுகள் காப்பீடு செய்யப்பட்ட தபால் மூலம் அனுப்பப்பட்டால், மதிப்பு ரூ. 20,000/- ஐ தாண்டக்கூடாது.
113. ஃபிராங்கிங் பதிவில் உள்ள பிழைக்கான பணத்தைத் திரும்பப் பெறுவதற்கு நிறுவனம் ஒரு மாதத்திற்குள் கோரலாம் மற்றும் 5% குறைவான பிடித்தம் செய்யப்படும் (பிழை தபால் கட்டணம்).
114. ஃபிராங்கிங் மீட்டர் மீட்டமைப்பு PRI மற்றும் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட தகுதி உடையவர்களால் செய்யப்படும்.
115. தபால் பெட்டி வசதியைப் பெறுவதற்கான கட்டணம் ஆண்டுக்கு ரூ. 150/- மற்றும் காலாண்டுக்கு ரூ. 50/-.
116. தபால் பெட்டி மற்றும் தபால் பை ஆகிய இரண்டின் ஒருங்கிணைந்த வசதிக்கான கட்டணம் - ஆண்டுக்கு ரூ. 250/- / காலாண்டுக்கு ரூ. 80.
117. அடையாள அட்டையின் விலை ரூ. 9/-. அடையாள அட்டையின் செல்லுபடியாகும் காலம் 3 ஆண்டுகள்.
118. ஜன்னல் டெலிவரி டிக்கெட்டின் விலை - இலவசம்.
119. போஸ்ட் ரெஸ்டாண்டே கட்டுரை தபால் நிலையத்தில் ஒரு மாதம் வரை நிறுத்தி வைக்கப்படலாம். (போஸ்ட் ரெஸ்டாண்டே அறிவுறுத்தல் 3 மாதங்களுக்கு செல்லுபடியாகும்).
120. டெலிவரி பகுதி / அசல் முகவரிக்குள் பார்சல்களை திருப்பி அனுப்புவதற்கான கட்டணம் மற்றும் உரிமை கோரப்படாத பார்சலின் அனுப்புநருக்கு திருப்பி அனுப்புவதற்கான கட்டணம் இலவசம்.
121. அனைத்து தபால் நிலையங்களிலும், கிளை அலுவலகங்கள் உட்பட புகார் மற்றும் ஆலோசனை புத்தகங்கள் பராமரிக்கப்படுகின்றன.
122. அடையாள அட்டையின் அளவு 88 மிமீ x 63 மிமீ.
123. வட்ட புகார் அதிகாரி என்பவர் வட்டத்தின் தலைமையகத்தில் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள கண்காணிப்பு அதிகாரி ஆவார்.
124. எந்தவொரு மதிப்புமிக்க சொத்தும் இல்லாமலும், உரிமை கோரல் இல்லாத அல்லது தகராறுக்கான வாய்ப்பு இல்லாத பட்சத்திலும், இறந்த நபரின் கட்டுரைகள் இறந்தவரின் நெருங்கிய உறவினருக்கு வழங்கப்படலாம்.
125. கடிதத்தின் குறைந்தபட்ச அளவு 11 x 7 செ.மீ & அதிகபட்சம் 60 x 90 செ.மீ. உருளை குறைந்தபட்சம் 10 x 17 செ.மீ & அதிகபட்சம் 88 x 100 செ.மீ.
