P.O. Guide – Part I
76. If the remitter of a money order desires to stop the money order which has not been paid, he should apply in writing at the P.O. where it was issued. (228)
77. If the remitter of a M.O desires. that the amount the M.O. booked by him to be paid to some other person other than the payee named in the M.O. this can be entertained on payment of a second commission equal to the first. (227)
78. Any person residing within the regular beat of the postman can have all the letters received to his address delivered to him regularly at the window of a post office with free of charge. (57)
79. An addressee desires to receive all fully prepaid unregistered articles at the post office in a locked bag, he is the holder of window delivery tickets.
80. The fee for the business reply service permit during the first quarter (April to June 30) be charged with Rs. 200 /- for full year. (116)
81. The permit for the business reply service will remain in force up to 31st March of the financial year. (118)
82. The undelivered Pockets of registered newspapers will be returned to sender after seven days. (74)
83. The refused unregistered articles on which sender's address are found are returned to office of posting. (74)
84. Money orders received for payment are entered in M.O. 3
85. The B.O. Bag should contain the B.O. Daily Account.
86. In the case of death of payee, the VPMO will be paid to the claimant after executing indemnity bond.

88. Maximum weight of a registered parcel is 20 kg.( If booked and addressed to a departmental Office)
89. Mobile Post offices remains closed on Sundays and post office holidays.

93. During specified hours on Sundays & P.O. holidays, all RMS offices generally book registered articles on payment of usual fee plus late fee.
94. Franking machine licenses is entitled to a commission of 3 % on the value of franks used.
95. Parcels or VPP with less than 10kg will be issued only once for delivery.
96. Parcels above 10 kg shall be delivered only at the window of the post office.
97. Machine Franked articles should not be posted in letter boxes.
98. The sender of a postal article posted in India may be withdrawn or have its address altered, so long as the article has not been delivered to the addressee.
99. The Post office reserves the right to withdraw the post box without notice or With out any reasons being assigned.
100. The identity cards are issued by all HPOS and SOS.

78. போஸ்ட்மேனின் வழக்கமான எல்லைக்குள் வசிக்கும் எந்தவொரு நபரும், தனது முகவரிக்கு வரும் அனைத்து கடிதங்களையும் தபால் நிலைய ஜன்னலில் இலவசமாக தவறாமல் பெறலாம். (57)
79. ஒரு முகவரிதாரர் முழுமையாக முன்பணம் செலுத்திய பதிவு செய்யப்படாத அனைத்து கட்டுரைகளையும் தபால் நிலையத்தில் பூட்டப்பட்ட பையில் பெற விரும்பினால், அவர் ஜன்னல் டெலிவரி டிக்கெட்டுகளை வைத்திருப்பவர் ஆவார்.
80. வணிக பதில் சேவைக்கான முதல் காலாண்டு (ஏப்ரல் 1 முதல் ஜூன் 30 வரை) அனுமதி கட்டணம் முழு ஆண்டுக்கு ரூ. 200/- ஆக வசூலிக்கப்படும். (116)
81. வணிக பதில் சேவைக்கான அனுமதி நிதி ஆண்டு மார்ச் 31 வரை செல்லுபடியாகும். (118)
82. டெலிவரி செய்யப்படாத பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட செய்தித்தாள்களின் உறைகள் ஏழு நாட்களுக்குப் பிறகு அனுப்புநருக்கு திருப்பி அனுப்பப்படும். (74)
83. அனுப்புநரின் முகவரி காணப்படும் மறுக்கப்பட்ட பதிவு செய்யப்படாத கட்டுரைகள் அனுப்பிய அலுவலகத்திற்கு திருப்பி அனுப்பப்படுகின்றன. (74)
84. பணம் செலுத்துவதற்காக பெறப்பட்ட மணியார்டர்கள் எதில் பதிவு செய்யப்படுகின்றன: எம்.ஓ. 3.
85. கிளை அலுவலக பை எதை கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டும்: கிளை அலுவலக தினசரி கணக்கு.
86. பெறுநர் இறந்த விஷயத்தில், விபிஎம்ஓ யார் மூலம் இழப்பீட்டுப் பத்திரம் நிறைவேற்றிய பிறகு கோரிக்கையாளருக்கு செலுத்தப்படும்.
