74. Can an Officer Performing Current Duties Exercise Appointment Powers?

• No. An officer performing the current duties of a post is not permitted to exercise the statutory powers of appointment to various posts mentioned in the schedules.

• These appointment powers are statutory and cannot be re-delegated to junior officers.

• A junior officer can only exercise these powers if they are formally declared as the Head of Office.

• An officer performing current duties can only exercise the administrative and financial powers associated with the post. They cannot exercise the statutory powers, such as appointment powers, attached to that post.

• இல்லை. அட்டவணைகளில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள பல்வேறு பதவிகளுக்கு நியமனம் செய்யும் சட்டப்பூர்வ அதிகாரங்களை தற்போதைய கடமைகளைச் செய்யும் அதிகாரி பயன்படுத்த முடியாது.

• இந்த நியமன அதிகாரங்கள் சட்டப்பூர்வமானவை மற்றும் இளைய அதிகாரிகளுக்கு மீண்டும் ஒப்படைக்க முடியாது.

• இளைய அதிகாரி முறையாக அலுவலகத் தலைவராக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டால் மட்டுமே, அவர்கள் இந்த அதிகாரங்களைப் பயன்படுத்த முடியும்.

• தற்போதைய கடமைகளைச் செய்யும் அதிகாரி, பதவிக்குரிய நிர்வாக மற்றும் நிதி அதிகாரங்களை மட்டுமே பயன்படுத்த முடியும். அந்தப் பதவிக்குரிய சட்டப்பூர்வ அதிகாரங்களான நியமன அதிகாரங்களை அவர்கள் பயன்படுத்த முடியாது.
