62. Drawal of Transport allowance to officials during Deputation/Attachment

• Some offices are not paying Transport Allowance to officials on deputation.

• The Karnataka Circle has clarified (on January 12, 2023) that officials deputed to different offices are eligible for Transport Allowance.

• The deputed office is considered the official's place of duty.

• Therefore, Transport Allowance should be paid to deputed officials.
