149. How the seniority of a person appointed on compassionate grounds is determined?
A person appointed on compassionate ground in a particular year is placed at the bottom of all the candidates recruited/appointed through direct recruitment, promotion etc. in that year, irrespective of the date of joining of the candidate on compassionate appointment.

150. Will there be any change in the seniority after passing the PO & RMS Accountant exam?
PO & RMS Accountant is not a separate cadre. They are borne on the gradation list of PA/SA cadre. There is no change in the seniority of in PA/SA cadre of PO& RMS Accountants after passing the Accountant exam.

151. How seniority of a person is determined now?
Seniority of a person regularly appointed to a post would be determined by the order of merit indicated at the time of initial appointment. The earlier practice of confirmation based seniority was dropped with effect from 4.11.1992

152. Whether the confirmation exam has been discontinued or not?
Yes. There will be no more examination, as the same has since been discontinued. Now clearance of confirmation is to be decided by the DPC.

ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட ஆண்டில் கருணை அடிப்படையில் நியமிக்கப்பட்ட ஒருவர், கருணை நியமனத்தில் வேட்பாளர் சேரும் தேதியைப் பொருட்படுத்தாமல், அந்த ஆண்டில் நேரடி ஆட்சேர்ப்பு, பதவி உயர்வு போன்றவற்றின் மூலம் ஆட்சேர்ப்பு/நியமிக்கப்பட்ட அனைத்து வேட்பாளர்களுக்கும் கீழே வைக்கப்படுவார். 150. PO & RMS கணக்காளர் தேர்ச்சி பெற்ற பிறகு மூப்பில் ஏதேனும் மாற்றம் இருக்குமா?
PO & RMS கணக்காளர் ஒரு தனி cadre அல்ல. அவர்கள் PA/SA cadre இன் தரவரிசைப் பட்டியலில் உள்ளனர். கணக்காளர் தேர்வில் தேர்ச்சி பெற்ற பிறகு PO& RMS கணக்காளர்களின் PA/SA cadre இல் மூப்பில் எந்த மாற்றமும் இல்லை. (DG (P) எண். 93-13/98-SPB II தேதி 23.12.1999)
151. ஒரு நபரின் மூப்பு இப்போது எவ்வாறு தீர்மானிக்கப்படுகிறது?
ஒரு பதவிக்கு முறையாக நியமிக்கப்பட்ட ஒருவரின் மூப்பு, ஆரம்ப நியமனத்தின் போது சுட்டிக்காட்டப்பட்ட தகுதி வரிசையின்படி தீர்மானிக்கப்படும். உறுதிப்பாட்டின் அடிப்படையில் மூப்பு என்ற முந்தைய நடைமுறை 4.11.1992 முதல் கைவிடப்பட்டது. (DOPT OM எண். 20011/5/90-Estt B) தேதி 04.11.1992)
152. உறுதிப்பாட்டுத் தேர்வு நிறுத்தப்பட்டதா இல்லையா?
ஆம். இனி தேர்வு இருக்காது, ஏனெனில் அது இப்போது நிறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. இப்போது உறுதிப்பாட்டை அனுமதிப்பது DPC ஆல் தீர்மானிக்கப்பட வேண்டும். (DG (P) எண். 37-47/2010-SPB-I (Pt) தேதி 27.03.2012)
