• சுக்கு, மிளகு, திப்பிலி என்னும் மூலிகைகள் உடலுக்கு நன்மை செய்வது போல் இந்நூலில் ஒவ்வொரு பாட்டிலும் உள்ள மூன்று கருத்துக்கள் வாழ்விற்கு நன்மை செய்யும். ஆதலால் இந்நூல் திரிகடுகம் என்றுஅழைக்கப் படுகிறது

கொள் பொருள் வெஃகிக் குடி அலைக்கும் வேந்தனும்

உள் பொருள் சொல்லாச் சல மொழி மாந்தரும்,

இல் இருந்து எல்லை கடப்பாளும், - இம் மூவர்

வல்லே மழை அருக்கும் கோள். . . . .[50]

"கொள் பொருள் வெஃகிக் குடி அலைக்கும் வேந்தனும்" - குடிமக்களின் செல்வத்தை ஆசைப்பட்டு அவர்களை துன்புறுத்தும் அரசனும்

"உள் பொருள் சொல்லாச் சல மொழி மாந்தரும்" - உண்மையான கருத்தை சொல்லாமல் வஞ்சகமாக பேசும் மனிதர்களும்

"இல் இருந்து எல்லை கடப்பாளும்" - வீட்டில் இருந்து கொண்டு ஒழுக்க எல்லையை மீறும் பெண்ணும்

"இம் மூவர் வல்லே மழை அருக்கும் கோள்" - இந்த மூவரும் விரைவில் மழையைக் கூட குறைக்கக் கூடிய கெட்ட குணம் உடையவர்கள்.

இவர்களின் செயல்கள் சமூகத்திற்கு மிகவும் கேடு விளைவிப்பதால், இயற்கையின் சமநிலையையே (மழை பொழிதலை) பாதிக்கும் அளவுக்கு தீமை பயக்கும் என்று கூறப்படுகிறது.

குடிமக்களை வருத்துகின்ற அரசனும், பொய் பேசுகின்ற மனிதரும், எல்லையைக் கடந்து நடக்கும் மனையாளும் இருக்குமிடத்தில் மழை பெய்யாது.

"People who speak deceitfully, hiding their true intentions" - This refers to those who are dishonest and manipulative in their speech, using cunning language to deceive others.

"A woman who, while staying at home, transgresses moral boundaries" - This refers to a woman who violates traditional social norms and expectations while remaining within the domestic sphere.

These three types of individuals are considered to have negative qualities that can even diminish rainfall, highlighting the severe consequences of their actions on society and the environment.
