7. Broken periods of officiating service count for drawal of increment
• Even if an employee officiates in a higher post for non-continuous periods, these broken spells are still added together and considered for increment eligibility.
• FR 26 continues to apply: This order might reiterate that the principles of Fundamental Rule 26, which deals with counting officiating periods for increments, are still valid under the CCS (Revised Pay) Rules, 2008.
The provisions of FR 26 which provide for counting of broken spells in officiation in the higher post for increment, continue to apply for increment under Rule 10 of CCS (RP) Rules, 2008.
