The Ministryof Social Justice & Empowerment has sent this letter on 26.11.2024 to all the Directors under his contral. Very Dangerious one which was posted by Com B.Samal in the Knowledge Spectrum group. I contacted him and confirmed the genuineness of the said letter. Accordingto this it seems that there is a proposal to withdraw the pension scheme to the existing employees unde Old Pension scheme. Theyn instructed not to issue any Pension Payment order to any employee who is retirning this month. Very dangerous. At the time of introudction of NPS, we cautioned the existing employees that it may come to us also at one point of time if we allow NPS. JCM Leadership should announce immediate programme against this if the order is having any hidden agenda to withdraw the old pension scheme to the exisitng employees.
Really it is a dangerous circular.
