Many postal pensioners are asking me how to obtain the copies of the service book after retirement. Simple representation is sufficient. In many cases, I have seen lot of short drawal in increments and pensionary benefits which can be located only of we perused the service book. We should get a copy of our service book after retirement for any reference. The following simple letter is sufficient for this purpose.

the Directorate’s order No.127/2/80-SPB II dated 31.1.1981, which entitles

A sum of Rs.5
(Rupees Five) has been credited under UCR at [Post Office Name] under receipt
