Strategic MoU signed between the Department of Posts and BSNL on 17th September 2025:

I usually post all important items related to official rulings, union news, and other general matters on my YouTube channels: Yourskayveeyes (English) and Anbudan Kayveeyes (Tamil).
However, due to the recent spate of orders and the high volume of information being received, I have not been able to convert every item into a video. Therefore, I am introducing these new slots to post current matters and updates that have not yet been published on YouTube. This ensures you stay informed on every detail, even if a video hasn't been made yet …………….Kayveeyes

Strategic MoU signed between the Department of Posts and BSNL on 17th September 2025:

The Department of Posts (DoP) and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in New Delhi to expand BSNL’s mobile connectivity reach across India.
Under this agreement, over 1.65 lakh Post Offices of India Post will be leveraged as Points of Sale (PoS) for BSNL SIM card sales and mobile recharge services nationwide.
India Post’s extensive network reaching almost every village and town will serve as a last-mile channel to enhance BSNL’s presence in both urban and rural areas.
The initiative aims to make BSNL telecom services more accessible and affordable, especially in remote parts of India with limited connectivity.
A proof of concept was successfully implemented in Assam, demonstrating potential for nationwide rollout.
BSNL will provide SIM stock and training, while DoP will onboard new customers and facilitate standardized and secure transactions.
Both parties will ensure robust monitoring, monthly reconciliation, and adherence to cybersecurity and data privacy standards.
The agreement is effective for one year from 17.09.2025 and may be renewed subsequently.
This collaboration sets a new benchmark in public sector synergy for citizen-centric service delivery by combining BSNL’s telecom infrastructure with India Post’s widespread presence.
