Whether travel by Tejas train is allowed for LTC? Will it not deviate the orders dated 19.9.2017?

• As per the Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) Office Memorandum (OM) No. 31011/8/2017 – Estt.A.IV dated 19.9.2017, the travel entitlements for Leave Travel Concession (LTC) will be the same as those for Travel Allowance (TA), with the exception of air travel entitlements.

• The Department is receiving inquiries regarding the admissibility of travel by Tejas trains under LTC.

• The Department of Expenditure (DOE) has clarified that only Tejas Rajdhani Express trains are covered under LTC as per their orders dated 13.7.2017.

• The ticket fare of regular Tejas Express trains is not allowed under LTC, according to this clarification.

• Past LTC claims do not need to be reopened based on this clarification.

• LTC இன் கீழ் தேஜாஸ் ரயில்களில் பயணம் செய்வதற்கான தகுதி குறித்து துறைக்கு குறிப்புகள் வந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றன.

• செலவினத் துறை (DOE), தனது 13.7.2017 தேதியிட்ட உத்தரவுகளின்படி, தேஜாஸ் ராஜ்தானி எக்ஸ்பிரஸ் ரயில்கள் மட்டுமே LTC இன் கீழ் அடங்கும் என்று தெளிவுபடுத்தியுள்ளது.

• இந்த தெளிவுபடுத்தலின்படி, வழக்கமான தேஜாஸ் எக்ஸ்பிரஸ் ரயில்களின் டிக்கெட் கட்டணம் LTC இன் கீழ் அனுமதிக்கப்படாது.

• இந்த தெளிவுபடுத்தலின் அடிப்படையில் முந்தைய LTC கோரிக்கைகளை மீண்டும் திறக்க வேண்டியதில்லை.
