 Rules, Rights & Rites -30

Dak Karmayogi (DKY) Portal is a comprehensive digital Training Administration and Management (TAM) system.

I usually post all important items related to official rulings, union news, and other general matters on my YouTube channels: Yourskayveeyes (English) and Anbudan Kayveeyes (Tamil).

However, due to the recent spate of orders and the high volume of information being received, I have not been able to convert every item into a video. Therefore, I am introducing these new slots to post current matters and updates that have not yet been published on YouTube. This ensures you stay informed on every detail, even if a video hasn't been made yet …………….Kayveeyes

The Dak Karmayogi (DKY) Portal is a comprehensive digital Training Administration and Management (TAM) system.

Core Features and Functionalities

  1. Digital Library: Provides access to departmental and Central Government orders and SOPs for all users.
  2. Helpdesk: Allows users and faculty to raise incidents for any technical issues related to the DKY portal.
  3. Service Desk WebApp (for Trainees at TIs): Used by trainees in Training Institutes (TI) to raise issues related to campus facilities (mess, hostel, gym, etc.).
  4. Library Management System (LMS): Allows trainees/faculty at TIs to access books, view due dates, suggest books, and enables TIs to manage inventory and issue books.
  5. External Training Nomination: Facilitates staff to apply for external training programs (domestic or abroad). TIs, Regions, Divisions, and Circles recommend or reject applications.
  6. User Management: Enables users to update their profiles. TIs, Regions, Divisions, and Circles can manage employee accounts (create, delete, reset, update details, map multiple IDs).
  7. Attendance: Trainees provide a QR code for faculty/trainers to take digital attendance daily during onsite training. Administrative entities can access attendance reports.
  8. Leave: Allows trainees to apply for leave during onsite training. Faculty forward applications to the TI authority for approval or rejection.
  9. Gatepass: Allows trainees to apply for a gate pass during non-training hours at TIs. Faculty forward applications to the TI authority for approval or rejection.
  10. Hostel Management: Used by trainees to avail hostel facilities and for TIs to assign rooms during onsite training.
  11. Dak-Tube: Allows users to access videos instantly by keyword search without course enrollment.
  12. Dashboard: Provides customized dashboards like "My Achievement" for trainees (completed courses/certificates) and "My Performance" for faculty (teaching metrics). Administrative entities also get customized key metric dashboards.
  13. Training Backlog: Divisions must submit a monthly backlog report. TIs access this to schedule training, and Regions/Circles monitor the submission.
  14. Seat Allocation: Trainees attend based on seats allotted by the Division after nomination acceptance by the TI. TIs allocate seats to Circles, which then allot them to Regions/Divisions.
  15. Training Calendar: Allows users, faculty, and administrative units to view the training schedule. TIs prepare and upload the schedule and update training status (Scheduled, Completed, Postponed, Cancelled).
