Merger of PACO with PA post office – withdrawn totally

• In our previous video, we mentioned that according to RTI documents we obtained, the proposal for the merger of Sorting Assistant (SA) with Postal Assistant (PA) and Postal Assistant (CO) with Postal Assistant (PO) was kept in abeyance by the then Director General (DG) Posts through his order dated 27.10.2023 in the note file.
• The stated reason for keeping the orders in abeyance was the strong objection from the unions, as they were not taken into confidence.
• Now, the Department has issued orders for the withdrawal of the proposal for the merger of Postal Assistant (CO) with Postal Assistant (PO).
• However, there is no mention regarding the proposal for the merger of Sorting Assistant (SA) with Postal Assistant (PO).
• The Directorate's instructions dated 27.10.2023 stand withdrawn from the beginning. Any further action will be taken after consultation with all stakeholders. (DG(P) No. Q-25/11/2022-PE-I-DOP dated 23.2.2024)
• A similar order is required for the proposal of the merger of Sorting Assistant (SA) with Postal Assistant (PO). At the same time, the cadre review for Sorting Assistants should be commenced immediately.
• Apart from that, the provision of Rule 38 transfers, as it was available during 1970 from SA to PA, may be considered to cater to the interests of willing officials.

• இப்போது, போஸ்டல் அசிஸ்டன்ட் (CO) ஐ போஸ்டல் அசிஸ்டன்ட் (PO) உடன் இணைப்பதற்கான முன்மொழிவை திரும்பப் பெறுவதற்கான உத்தரவுகளை துறை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.
• இருப்பினும், சார்டிங் அசிஸ்டன்ட் (SA) ஐ போஸ்டல் அசிஸ்டன்ட் (PO) உடன் இணைப்பதற்கான முன்மொழிவு குறித்து எந்தக் குறிப்பும் இல்லை.

• சார்டிங் அசிஸ்டன்ட் (SA) ஐ போஸ்டல் அசிஸ்டன்ட் (PO) உடன் இணைப்பதற்கான முன்மொழிவுக்கும் இதேபோன்ற உத்தரவு தேவை. அதே நேரத்தில், சார்டிங் அசிஸ்டன்ட்களுக்கான கேடர் மறுஆய்வு உடனடியாக தொடங்கப்பட வேண்டும்.
• அதுமட்டுமின்றி, விருப்பமுள்ள அதிகாரிகளின் நலன்களைப் பூர்த்தி செய்வதற்காக, 1970 ஆம் ஆண்டில் SA இலிருந்து PA க்கு இருந்ததைப் போன்ற விதி 38 இடமாற்றங்களின் ஏற்பாடு பரிசீலிக்கப்படலாம்.
