Ten Self-Reflection Questions for Branch Union Leaders and active unionists
1. Do I maintain a Notice Board for the Branch to display daily updates and developments from the union?
2. Am I regularly updating the Notice Board with communications from Central Headquarters and other organizations as well as Govt orders to benefit our members? Am I updating the recent orders and union news in the social groups formed with the members?
3. Am I actively promoting our CHQ (Central Headquarters) journals and encouraging more members to subscribe?
4. Have I ensured that all office bearers have subscribed to the union's journal, setting a positive example for others?
5. Is my branch consistently remitting the required quota to the CHQ, Circle, and Federation?
6. Am I paying the full cost for the journals, ensuring that our branch is financially supporting its distribution?
7. What am I personally doing to promote, popularize, and practice trade unionism within the branch and beyond?
8. Have I made efforts to increase branch membership and improve the overall functioning of our union? Am I spending at least 30 minutes daily with my members to discuss the history and achievements of the union?
9. Am I standing alongside my comrades in the fight against injustice, nepotism, corruption, abuse of power, and discrimination? Am I dedicating myself to the members who belong to me?
10. Have I worked to educate and empower our members, promoting the message that unity, strength, determination, and struggle are essential to achieving our demands?
