Pre KG fees will be reimbursed under Children Education Allowance from the year 2023-24

• The Government of India has implemented the New Education Policy 2020. 

• Therefore, the Office Memorandum (OM) dated 17.7.2018 is modified as follows. 

• The Children's Education Allowance (CEA) and Hostel Subsidy are admissible for children studying from three classes before Class One up to the 12th standard. 

• Accordingly, the three classes before the first class are now included under the reimbursement of CEA. 

• A one-time relaxation is also granted to repeat one additional class due to the implementation of the New Education Policy 2020. 

• This modification will be effective from the academic year 2023-24.DOPT OM No. A-27012/01/2023-Pers.Policy(Allowance) dated 14.3.2024

• இந்திய அரசு புதிய கல்வி கொள்கை 2020 ஐ நடைமுறைப்படுத்தியுள்ளது. 

• ஆகையால், 17.7.2018 தேதியிட்ட அலுவலகக் குறிப்பாணை (OM) பின்வருமாறு மாற்றியமைக்கப்படுகிறது. 

• முதல் வகுப்புக்கு முந்தைய மூன்று வகுப்புகள் முதல் 12 ஆம் வகுப்பு வரை படிக்கும் குழந்தைகளுக்கு குழந்தைகள் கல்வி உதவித்தொகை (CEA) மற்றும் விடுதி மானியம் அனுமதிக்கப்படும். 

• அதன்படி, முதல் வகுப்புக்கு முந்தைய மூன்று வகுப்புகளும் இப்போது CEA திருப்பிச் செலுத்துதலின் கீழ் கொண்டு வரப்படுகின்றன. 

• புதிய கல்வி கொள்கை 2020 ஐ நடைமுறைப்படுத்துவதன் காரணமாக ஒரு கூடுதல் வகுப்பை மீண்டும் படிக்க ஒருமுறை தளர்வும் வழங்கப்படுகிறது. 

• இந்த மாற்றம் கல்வி ஆண்டு 2023-24 முதல் நடைமுறைக்கு வரும்.
