Amendments to the Child adoption leave

• The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT), through its Gazette Notification GSR.374(E) dated 15.5.2023, has amended sub-rule 1 of Rule 43-AA concerning child adoption leave.
• Upon accepting a child for pre-adoption foster care or on the valid adoption of a child below one year of age, Paternity Leave may be granted for 15 days within a period of six months.
• Child Adoption Leave for a period of 180 days is eligible as per Rule 43 – B.
• In the case of an invalid adoption, the leave availed shall be debited from any other kind of leave applicable to the employee.

• பணியாளர் மற்றும் பயிற்சித் துறை (DOPT), தனது அரசிதழ் அறிவிக்கை GSR.374(E) தேதியிட்ட 15.5.2023 மூலம், குழந்தை தத்தெடுப்பு விடுப்பு தொடர்பான விதி 43-AA இன் துணை விதி 1 ஐ திருத்தியுள்ளது.
• ஒரு குழந்தையை தத்தெடுப்பதற்கு முந்தைய வளர்ப்புக்காக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போதோ அல்லது ஒரு வயதுக்குட்பட்ட குழந்தையை முறையாக தத்தெடுக்கும்போதோ, ஆறு மாத காலத்திற்குள் 15 நாட்கள் தந்தைவழி விடுப்பு வழங்கப்படலாம்.
• விதி 43 – B இன் படி 180 நாட்கள் குழந்தை தத்தெடுப்பு விடுப்பு பெற தகுதியுண்டு.
• தத்தெடுப்பு செல்லாததாக இருந்தால், பெறப்பட்ட விடுப்பு ஊழியருக்கு பொருந்தக்கூடிய வேறு எந்த வகையான விடுப்பிலிருந்தும் கழிக்கப்படும்.
