DoPT has not aggreed to DoP suggestion regarding change of eligibility as 5 years insted of 8 years, due to upgradation of IP Pay Level.
Subsequently DoP has issued orders that there is no change in the service eligibility for LDCE-IP exam and it will remain as eight years as notified in Recruitment Ruling for IP Cadre.
