 Promotion to HSG I to accounts qualified officials

• As per Directorate letter No 6-12/2010-SPN II dated 9.11.2023, there is no recruitment rules for HSG I Accounts and there is no approved post in HSG I in accounts line.

• As per earlier 1976 Recruitment rules for LSG, HSG II & I, on promotion to LSG by the accounts qualified official, his name will also be brought under the circle Gradation list and promotion to HSG II and HSG I posts in general line are accorded as per the combined seniority list. 

• This practice has not been adhered after switching over to TBOP & BCR because no LSG promotion was accorded since it was equated with LSG vice versa BCR with HSG II.

• Since reverting back to old system of LSG promotion the earlier provisions should be restored to accounts line officials also they should be considered for HSG I promotion based on the combined HSG II Gradation list.

• Otherwise a separate channel of promotion to accounts qualified officials shall be created duly amending the LSG Recruitment Rules Accounts, 1976 and provide promotion up to NFG.

• Accounts cadre shall not remain as exploited cadre and uncared.
